Verity Time Company Limited was established in 1936. We are a small family run business, now in its third generation. The Founder of the company was the Grandfather of the present managing director. Watch and clock making was started in Switzerland by local farmers, who, living high up in the mountains in their small villages, were unable to work the land or get down to the lower slopes in the long winter months because of the heavy snowfalls. From small cottage industries, they have developed the expertise needed to produce and maintain the precision and quality of the movements which are still being produced some two centuries later. We maintain close ties with the Jura region of Switzerland, which is the centre of manufacturing, and home of quality timepieces. Most families in this area have at least one or two members working in the horological industry - sometimes it is the whole family, rather like us at Verity. Being a small company, we care about our customers, and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We pay attention to the quality and detail of each piece we sell.
